Custom built upholstered furniture has always been a specialty dating back to Griffin Upholstery, Drapery and Mattress. John's can design and build that special piece of furniture that may be impossible to find or build to fit a unique area in the home. Some of the services and components that are offered in upholstered
custom built furniture are: design, space planning and consultation, 4/4 or 5/4 hardwood alder frames glued and doweled, coil springs with eight-way hand-tie, large array of foams and polyesters to accommodate comfort level on arms and backs, large selection of cushion core fill including foam, down and innerspring cushions. A multitude of decorative items can be used
to complement any décor including decorative nails, fringes, jumbo welts and non-standard items.
